    Definitely a man's book

This is a short (novella?) about a person travelling to Boston for the perfect season of the team he follows. I think an avid sports fan or a male would enjoy this story most. Not my kind of story, but it was well written so it did merit 4 stars.

Excellent, Well-Written Read With a Good Moral Lesson

What a great story! I cannot properly describe in this review how I felt about Mr. Thomas story. First of all is how he described the excitement and disappontment he felt when the Pats lost. For many writers, the story would have ended there. But Mr. Thomas is a great writer, so he couldn't just leave it at that. How he was able to look back on his experience as a football fan and sports fan and see the good in every story was magnificent. I loved his quote on how a great athlete is one who inspires, and that following sports teams means nothing if you aren't having fun. Those are great lessons for any sports fan to consider.
