You can pick this book up at any time and start anywhere. I read this book over the course of a year in my spare time and between other books. Every story is offbeat and unexpected. Not at all what I expected. I picked this book up because I'm a fan of Danls work since childhood as most this book is a completely different style.

Like all good jokes, Dahl leads us inevitably towards that killer punch line. Funny, strange, and quite frankly ingenious! The most intreguing imagination I have ever come across!

There are stories in this book that will make you cringe and wonder how the author could imagine such things. Enjoyable.
