It was hard to wait to finally be able to read this last volume

It was hard to wait to finally be able to read this last volume of The Rose of Lancaster series. The author knows how to keep his readers in suspense at the end of each volume—and so he left me in suspense again at the end of volume 9. So I was happy to read this last volume—to find out how the story would continue, but I was also feeling a bit sad to know this is the last one in this wonderful series.
I am going to miss Rose and Ethan! But now I know how everything turned out, I can let them go. I'm pretty sure, though, that I will return to them some time. I'm hoping to buy the paperback edition when it is released. I hardly ever buy the print edition of books I already read on my Kindle, but The Rose of Lancaster County was a very special series—Rose and Ethan truly stole my heart—so they deserve a nice spot on my keeper shelf.
