Theodore Roosevelt was a very talented writer. The man just had a way to make the reader feel like being there experiencing the story. In this case, TR was very much involved in the events he describes in this book. Much of the text would be considered very politically incorrect by todays standards. But it should be kept in mind that TR was writing by the standards of his day. Overall, very well worth owning and reading!
