Overview

Guys like Torin Westbrook aren’t supposed to exist in real life.

When Darby meets Torin as a fellow counselor at the survival camp she impulsively applies to, she’s certain his main goal is to turn her world upside down, with his disheveled curly hair, irresistible dimples, and endearingly quirky habit of reciting quotes from classic movies and ancient thinkers.

Darby’s not sure she can adapt to Torin’s way of viewing his past and the tragedies he's faced. Because she’s had her own share of heartache too, and as much as she wants to believe that it’s all been for a purpose, she hasn’t been able to move on. Yet the more time Darby spends with Torin, the more she longs to break free of her carefully constructed routine and fall into something new.

She’s just not sure that she should be falling for Torin along the way.

    Surprising

I love being surprised by a book! This was such a well written story. The main characters were quirky and it was easy to fall into their story...an amazing read...

I loved this book you learn about love, loss, friendship, and family. Both characters in this book they have loved and have dealt with loss. They help each other  by healing each other pain so they can move on. The relationship Torin & Derby are amazing . I love how Torin was helping her with her sister death. Lance was a ok person I don't want to give the story away but it is worth buying it took me two days to finish this and loves every chapter in this story.

    Disappointed

I had a hard time even finishing this book. They jumped into this friendship/love way to fast and yet the book dragged. I skipped most of it and mainly read just the dialog. Without giving anything away, I felt the entire part of the story that happens towards the end to the boyfriend/exboyfriend was completely unnecessary. And all the quotes from books.... it just didn't jive well to me. Sorry!!
