    Review

For all of those out there who are hesitating about buying this book let me tell you something : THIS BOOK IS WAY BETTER THEN WHAT HAPPENED IN PERU!!! If you loved that book then you willbreally like this one. For the ones (like me) who didn't really like the 1st of the bane chronicals this book is better. It has more depth in the new characters *chough* *cough* axel :) and it has a clearer plot line. The runaway queen had a significant beginning, middle, and end. This book was fun, dangerous, funny, and (in some cases) sexy ;). I just want to tell the people who read what happened in peru and were dissapointed to not give up! Don't get me wrong I loved the book I just liked this one better :)

    Better than the first.

I found the Runaway Queen be far better than the first one after I was let down from reading it. I did like how this book did have one plot and a simpler flow of events than the first one did.

    Interesting interlude in Magnus' life

It was an interesting but futile attempt to change history, an unknown intrigue. I was amused at his chosen appearance when he used his glamor. It also reinforced Magnus' weakness for blue-eyed dark haired men.Good read,(no spoilers)ending(wah).

By far my favorite so far!

As opposed to the first in the chronicles (which I found difficult to get into) I absolutely enjoyed this one almost immediately.

Ah, another tale of Magnus Bane and his recklessness. I still would like to know how old he is but I suppose we'll probably never know. I wouldn't be surprised if Magnus didn't exactly remember himself....

The Runaway Queen was another entertaining story of Magnus's life. But, much like What Really Happened in Peru, it was rather disappointing. I'd mostly describe it as cute. It's nice to learn more about Magnus's life, especially with Alec's new fascination with it, but I wish The Runaway Queen had had a little more direction to it.

The first short story was supposed to reveal why Magnus was banned from Peru. That was a purpose. This one however, just felt slightly empty. And, if I'm honest, I was little disinterested with it. It wasn't awful, I just felt like it didn't have a purpose.

With that said, I do think sometimes I'm looking for something more when really, all I'm reading is just a short story and not a whole novel.

    Disappointing ending!

So, Magnus Bane, the hero, just ditches von Fersen, and runs away?

    Better than the first one

This story is not as exciting or compelling as Cassandra Clare's TID series or TMI series. However, this story was better than the first, What Really Happened in Peru.

Based on the last addition of this series I am hesitant to purchase this. Is this any better than the last?
