Excellent training diary for the runner in your life. The outline and useful format provide a practical use for the self-starters. There is plenty of space for charting your training experience. You just need to record the facts as they encourage - about each day's run, such as your pace, the distance you ran, your pulse rate, and weather conditions. There are charts to record your racing results and your times. The book gives inspiring hints to improve your run. This was a gift for someone who had shoulder surgery and had to stop running for a long period of time - and needed to return to the very beginning. This helped pace the efforts and keep a journal as to the success of starting all over.
