I love poems and porters' who read minds of people and write according to this. I always find some poems that are written with some real experience and that mixed with sweet imagination. Fortunately, I have found this book name as "The Sacred Calendar" that have twenty poems based on real life story. In these poems, the author has made simple but It expressed in awesome style. I already fan of this book. And I think every people who liked poem should read this. I will be happy if the author publishes more book for me.

This is a great read. I enjoyed the poems and enjoyed the descriptions at the end. I think the back matter that tells about the author's experiences in Guatemala and Mexico really put it in perspective. It made me want to read this book and kept it all rooted. Very good read. Whether you're interested in the Maya or just like poetry, you will like this.
