An awesome series from one of my fave authors. Read all four separately and each time in one sitting. Even though these are shorts, they are packed, the stories are funny, sexy and hot. You don't want to miss reading this.

    Leonardo

Leonardo was a quick read and entertaining from the first page. I quickly fell in love with Leo Santini, he's this big Army hero. He's sexy, sweet and drool worthy. He treats Maryanne "MJ" Johnson like a lady, like someone worth cherishing, all while falling head over heels for her. He has this big tough exterior with this marshmallow center that I just found so loveable.

I loved Maryanne, she's this tiny woman with such a big attitude that she terrifies grown military men. I imagine that comes with being a military brat and a physical therapist. She's quick witted, strong and just the kind of woman to keep a big Army hero in line.

Their banter was one of my favorite parts of this book. The sex was hot and the romance was sweet. I look forward to reading more of this series. I really hope their mom makes plenty of appearances because she reminds me of my mom, and I could tell she loves her sons.

I recommend this for the hot romance and the sexy banter all set into a delicious military romance. Pick up Leonardo and be on the lookout for Marco, the second Santini brother coming soon!

    Marco

Marco is a Navy SEAL stationed in Hawaii and he's very attracted to his landlady, Alana Kailikea. Alana isn't sure she wants a relationship with a gorgeous SEAL, but Marco can and does break down her walls.
I loved Marco from the beginning, I think it's because he's the quiet brother. I related to him. Alana is strong, beautiful and curvy, a great heroine in my book. I love curvy heroines that are full of life and attitude.

There are few scenes where all four Santinis are together, and the testosterone overload almost melted me. I love these brothers, and each and every one of them intrigues me.
Jump in and read this series, they don't disappoint. So go ahead and judge a book by its cover. This particular story lives up to the hot cover that represents it.

    Gianni

Gianni Santini is the youngest Santini brother and my favorite so far. He's a PJ in the Air Force and he meets college professor Kianna Jones, a sexy woman five years his senior. There was this instant chemistry that I loved, it was a cool contrast to have the eldest sister falls for the youngest brother. The dynamic they both have with their siblings was an interesting layer to this story.

Gianni Santini, is smooth, sexy, and fun. I would love to find a man like him. He treats Kianna like this rare treasure that is meant to be pampered and held above all others. He was swoon worthy. Kianna is smart and sexy, and willing to let a younger man sweep her off her feet. The ways that Ms. Schroeder has their relationship grow and build is beautifully done. We got to catch up with Leo and MJ and got to see a taste of Georgia with this book.
I recommend this Santini for the sensual side of Gianni, he's the smoothest brother yet! This is a story of love that's just the right length for full satisfaction.

    Vincente

Vince Santini, he's the eldest Santini and The Last Santini Standing. The last to find his permanent lady, to settle down, to fall in love, the last part isn't entirely accurate since he's been in love with Julianna Andrews since high school. She married his best friend and then survived through hell. She walked away from her abusive ex, and isn't ready to settle down again.

Vicente is the last of the Santini novellas and if there is one thing I've learned, it's that the Santini's are up for any challenge and will move mountains to be with the lady they love. So when Vince reconnects with Jules again, it's instant attraction and a level of stubbornness that only a Marine could have. He sets out to woo her, love her and convince her to marry him and he does it in a way that made me wish for my very own Vince. Julianna puts up a good fight and doesn't make it easy for him, after all she's a survivor and woman that Joey Santini, Vince's mom, would be proud to call daughter.
This is a sexy, sweet story of love so deep it lasts through fifteen years of separation and all it takes is a little shove and a determined Marine to rekindle what was once there.

So read this story, for the romance, the hot Marine in uniform and for the sense of family that induces feelings of home and hearth. This is a story that doesn't disappoint and leaves feelings of satisfaction, and happiness when the last page is turned.

    Hello

A good set of stories that make good outlines for books. Hot descriptive sex involved, so not for the immature. In the Vicente story, she was 'bawling' not 'balling', and hope the author knows the difference.

    Bummed

I have read them all now. I feel each one was lacking a good storyline. So much potential there but rushed through each story never really getting into them. I liked the characters and really wish she would have done more with them. Dissapointed in all of them but even more so with Vincents story. His was even more rushed and lacking than the others.

I suppose I have read worse.

I'm on a military romance kick right now and I absolutely loved this book!!! I have been (not so) patiently waiting for this book since Mel announced the series on her Facebook page. Leo was instantly loveable and quite irresistible. He is strong, in the military, stubborn, sexy, and funny. Maryanne is just as stubborn and is extra determined not to fall for Leo. Leo is persistent enough to continue to find ways to show Maryanne to give a relationship with him a chance. Leonardo was funny and full of sweet moments between Maryanne and Leo. I can't wait to meet the rest of the brothers and see what is in store for this group of military brothers. Fortunately we won't have to wait long because Mel plans to release them very close to one another!

Clearly I am really feeling the military reads lately. I am loving this series and I can't wait to read about the last two brothers (Mel is also planning a spin-off series! squee). I would have loved to know a little more about Marco's SEAL life but it's all secretive so it makes sense that he didn't talk about it. Alana is a sweet but strong woman-a trait I happen to love. Marco's brother Gianni came close to stealing the show. He is going to be a really fun one to read about. I would have liked to get a little more back story for Alana, her past makes it hard for her to talk about but it would have been nice to see her break out of that shell. The ending felt a wee bit rushed, but we get a resolution for the characters. Don't miss this series. The Santini Brothers are a hilarious band of sexy military men and watching them be brought to their knees by a woman is exhilarating.

I've been waiting for Gianni's book since Leonardo was released. Gianni is the youngest of the Santinis and very outgoing and a serious flirt. I loved him in Leonardo's book, flirting with MJ and driving his brother nuts. Reading the dynamic between family members is always so much fun. I love getting to know more and more about each brother before their story is released. I love that Kianna is a bit uncomfortable with her body and the things Gee says to her made me want to cry. Gee shows Kianna that even though he may be younger than her, her is wiser in some areas. I loved the emails at the beginning of each chapter. The two were emailing for two months while Gee was deployed. They learned so much about each other during that time that they really developed a very strong relationship. It was a surprise to both of them that they loved each other so quickly once Gee returned.
I can't wait to see Vince fall. I bet he's gonna be a tough one to crack...just the way I like them!

    Vicente
    5 out of 5 Licks
Vince's book is sadly the last in this series-well for now anyway...Mel said she is going to write a Christmas story for Mom and Dad Santini. I have so thoroughly enjoyed this series. Vince, the oldest of The Santini brothers, might have been the last to get his happy ending but he certainly hasn't been quite up until now. He's been popping into the other brother's books with his older brother wisdom. I was so emotionally attached to these brothers that I really didn't want to finish this book. Jules has had such a rough life and after Vince learns the truth about her abusive husband he may understand her hesitance to be in a relationship, but that won't stop a Santini. After showing her how hot they are in bed, he proceeds to show her how much she deserves her own happy ever after. Vince's story was heartwarming and everything I hoped it would be. Once I started I couldn't stop reading until I was finished.
