Quantico MCB
Erotic Romance Novella

Vince Santini considers himself the last man standing. Being the only unmarried brother is a badge of honor, until the woman had always been in his heart returns. Acting on his attraction hadn't been an option seeing that she was his best friend's girl, but now she is single and free for him to pursue.

Julianna Andrews is a survivor. It took her years to walk away from her abusive husband, and now all she cares about is building her business. She doesn't have time for Vince or the temptation he represents. He is a reminder of her past. One kiss has her melting and soon she's in a heated affair with a Santini.

Vince knows that Jules might not be ready for happily ever after with anyone, but he is bound and determined to convince her that he can give her that--and more. This Santini is happy to be the last man standing--as long as he is HER man.

Included in the book are Melissa's recollections of their time spent in Virginia.

Meet the Author

From an early age, Melissa loved to read. First, it was the books her mother read to her including her two favorites, Winnie the Pooh and the Beatrix Potter books. She cut her preteen teeth on Trixie Belden and read and reviewed To Kill a Mockingbird in middle school. It wasn’t until she was in college that she tried to write her first stories, which were full of angst and pain, and really not that fun to read or write. After trying several different genres, she found romance in a Linda Howard book.
Since the publication of her first book in 2004, Melissa has had close to fifty romances published. She writes in genres from historical suspense to modern day erotic romance to futuristics and paranormals. Included in those releases is the bestselling Harmless series. In 2011, Melissa branched out into self-publishing with A Little Harmless Submission and the popular military spinoff, Infatuation: A Little Harmless Military Romance. Along the way she has garnered an epic nomination, a multitude of reviewer’s recommended reads, over five Capa nods from TRS, over twelve nominations for AAD Bookies and regularly tops the bestseller lists on Amazon, All Romance Ebooks and Barnes & Noble.
Since she spent her childhood as a military brat, Melissa swore never to marry military. But, as we all know, Fate has her way with mortals. She is married to an AF major and is raising her own brats, both human and canine. She spends her days giving in to her addiction to Twitter, counting down the days until her hubby retires, and cursing the military for always sticking them in a location that is filled with bugs big enough to eat her children.

Vicente. *swoon* He's the oldest Santinis brother. The one who's not in a relationship. The last man standing until the one and only woman he has ever loved is divorced and back in his life.  Julianna. Vicente has loved her since high school and was heartbroken when she married his best friend. She's a little gun shy when it comes to relationships, which is understandable given what her ex-husband has put her through. I was so happy when these two started seeing each other. I've liked Vicente in all the previous novellas and wanted him to get his HEA. This is a relatively short read. I was able read it in one sitting. I think Ms Schroeder did a great job with this one. It's a great way to end this series. Rating: 4 Stars

Vincente makes up the last of the Santini brothers' books. Melissa Schroeder has done an excellent job of bringing this family to life. The relationships are warm, funny & realistic. You will be glad you purchased this book. I highly suggest that you read the series in order, if you read in e-book form. As a print book, all four stories are already together. Can't wait to read Joey's book!

I would suggest reading all these books in order and you will fall in love with the Santini men!! The books are also a really great bargin as well with at least 230+ pages for each books. Vicente is the last brother standing and the oldest. He had a love back in high school who ended up marrying his best friend. The two never saw each other since the day she married. 15 plus yrs. later they meet up and you will have to read the book to find out =)

Great Book! I was gifted this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I truly love this short story! It is the perfect balance of interesting plot, romance and heat. This is the fourth and final story in a series of novellas about love and life in the military by Melissa Schroeder. Each novella is about one of the four Santini brothers. This story is about the oldest brother, marine officer Vicente Santini. Vicente has loved Julianna Erica Andrews since he was seventeen. A day before Jules and Mike (Vicente's best friend) get married, Vicente and Jules share a memorable kiss and Vicente confesses his love to her. Needless to say, they loose touch after the wedding. Years later, a divorced Jules returns, and Vicente wastes no time in getting her to fall in love with him. The heat between them is tangible and their future is bright. This book is so good I will definitely read it again! I highly recommend it!

My favorite of the four brothers and a touching conclusion to the series. I loved his story! Of all the stories, this was the most serious one as it dealt with a heroine who had suffered in an abusive relationship. The connection between Vince and Jules was believable because of their history that was touched upon throughout the story. Clearly there was some unfinished business between them. Vince was like a heat-seeking missile locked on his target. He wanted a chance with Jules, and he made his intentions crystal clear from the beginning. I loved that about him. He was clear, but he wasn't pushy. One might think that Jules would be more skittish around a man who so openly displays his desire for her at every turn, but the fact that she had known him before and was attracted to him long before this story began moved their budding relationship into the believable realm. I felt for her, and for the mistakes she had made and paid for. The first night with Vince is like a revelation, and it was lovely to read about her gaining some of her confidence back. Joey plays an important role in this story and makes a stunning confession. You can't help but love Mama Santini more afterwards. And if you're a romantic sap like me, you will love the ending. It couldn't have been more perfect for them. It played out like a movie scene *hint*. I'm sad to see this series end, but maybe we will catch glimpses of them in Melissa Schroeder's next military series about the Johnsons. So this isn't really a goodbye but more of a "see you later". Favorite Moment: "Just remember, Jules might be resistant to marriage, but then, she's never had to deal with a Santini before." He waved as his father backed out and drove off. He was right. Vince had to deal with the problem head on. First though, he had some things to work out. Plus, he had a dog to kidnap. Disclaimer: I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

As posted on The Smutty Kitty 5 out of 5 Licks Vince's book is sadly the last in this series-well for now anyway...Mel said she is going to write a Christmas story for Mom and Dad Santini. :) I has so throughly enjoyed this series. Vince, the oldest of The Santini brothers, might have been the last to get his happy ending but he certainly hasn't been quite up until now. He's been popping into the other brother's books with his older brother wisdom. I was so emotionally attached to these brothers that I really didn't want to finish this book. Jules has had such a rough life and after Vince learns the truth about her abusive husband he may understand her hesitance to be in a relationship, but that won't stop a Santini. After showing her how hot they are in bed, he proceeds to show her how much she deserves her own happy ever after. Vince's story was heartwarming and everything I hoped it would be. Once I started I couldn't stop reading until I was finished.

The last Santini standing.....except he's not. Vince is awesome and he's waited long enough for her reel him in without even realizing it LOL. Hot, funny and sweet and just the right story for the last Santini! Vince and Jules make the perfect couple!

Marine officer Vince Santini has loved one girl since high school.  His problem was that she married his best friend.  Now she is a widow and afraid to love again.  Can he convince her to give him a chance this time around? This was the sweetest of the four Santini brothers stories.  I actually teared up at one point.  Vince like his brothers is strong and sexy.  Despite his strength his relationship with Julianna leaves him endearingly vulnerable.

I love love reading this final book in the series! It is very sad to say it is the final book! However, I love these brothers so much since they are very passionate and determined when they fall in love. Vicente and Jules are perfect for each other that it was very great when they reunited after so many years. I am happy for Vicente to finally go after the one women he truly loves. They are perfect for each other!!!
