The Science of Getting Rich, The Science of Being Well, The Science of Being Great & The Law of Opulence: The Collected “New Thought” Wisdom of Wallace D. Wattles [NOOK Book]

Overview

"THIS book is pragmatical, ... a practical manual, ... It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions ...

Overview

"THIS book is pragmatical, ... a practical manual, ... It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached. "The Science of Getting Rich"

"There is a Principle of Life in the universe; it is the One Living Substance from which all things are made. This Living Substance permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe; it is in and through all things, like a very refined and diffusible ether. All life comes from it; its life is all the life there is. Man is a form of this Living Substance, and has within him a Principle of Health. "The Science of Being Well"

"THERE is a Principle of Power in every person. By the intelligent use and direction of this principle, man can develop his own mental faculties. Man has an inherent power by which he may grow in whatsoever direction he pleases, and there does not appear to be any limit to the possibilities of his growth. No man has yet become so great in any faculty but that it is possible for someone else to become greater. "The Science of Being Great"

Enjoy the three definitive works of Wallace D Wattles, arguably the most famous of the "New Thought" writers of the early 20th Century. Also included is the hard to find essay, The Law of Opulence.

Meet the Author

Wallace D. Wattles (1860–1911) was an early American success writer who became widely popular in the New Thought and self-help movement. Although he wrote many books and articles and was a popular speaker on the lecture circuit, most of what we know about his personal life came from the writings of his daughter. Wattles' best known work is the 1910 book, The Science of Getting Rich, in which he explained how to become wealthy. He claimed to have personally tested the principles he described. They apparently worked, for although he had lived most of his life in poverty, in his later years he was a prosperous man.
