Overview

Mystical, magical and mysterious.
Shes every mortals dream and every mortals nightmare. She will slip into your sleep and entice you, take you to heights youve never dreamed but beware, do not cross over without her call, because if you do she will
Queen Scorpathia is tired. Many years have gone by since she sought a mate. Ten decades. It may be anger. It may be fear but the time has come. She has entered anothers dream state one last time. Now she will have to fight more than her fear of losing yet another. She will have to fight the passion, lust and desires that are plaguing her mind, body and soul. No one has ever given and taken as much as this warrior and no one will ever again. But will his strength and love be enough to fight the battles raging around her. Will the powers of her land be enough to bring forth yet another day? Only time will tell.
Gabriel has travels far and long searching for the woman who enters his dreams. The things she does to him are only minor to what he plans to do in person once he finds her. Such passion should not be shackled to only the night, the sleep. Twelve full moons have passed and he will not give up until she is his. He knows together they will harvest a power that will be unstoppable. A power that can only be harvested with the bonding of their two lives and hearts.
However, this battle comes with many foes, some familiar, some strangers. He will not only have to fight her and her fears but also the myths adding mortar to the walls she has built around her. It will take more than any battle skill hes even known to chip away at her stone faade and bring her to the life that is truly hers. But will she allow it? Will she allow her heart to open to what could be more lies, more torment?

Dear Readers,
I know you will enjoy reading The Scorpion Queen as much as I enjoyed writing it, so let me ask you this. Do you love action? Do you love a strong heroine and an even stronger hero? I do. The concept of this story came to me late one night as I was reclined in the lounger watching television.
My top three when it comes to men other than my hubby are, Duane the Rock Johnson, Shemar Moore and Morris Chestnut. Theres just something about them that make me go gaga whenever I see them. That one night, I was watching the Scorpion King with Duane doing his thing and I thought, this would make a really good story if the lead was female and if she had a scorpion tattooed to her body that was in some way mystical and came alive at the most inopportune times.
The Scorpion Queen is a compelling tell of a powerful and mystical queen who is trying to save and protect her people and land. At the same time, she has to realized her strongest strengths was giving into the love she has for her intended king.
Gabriel is a warrior who will not let anything stand between him and the queen, not even the Protector who has killed many before him. When he grows tired of the dream walks he lets Scorpathia know, enough is enough. Together they realize, in death there is life, in life there is love and in love there is rebirth.

Meet the Author

I was single for a very long time. I didnt get married until I was 38 years old. Or should I say young. During my single life I developed a love for a lot of things. Traveling. Great wine. Out door festivals. People watching and television, yes, television. My mother used to say too much television would mess up the brain and destroy cells but I disagreed. At least in my case. My television was my company on many a slow night. When all of my singe friends were at work and the couples were coupling. I had my television. Even now, after being married for eleven years some shows are like best friends. Life just wouldnt be as fun as it is if I didnt have my CSI Miami and Adam Rodriguez or Criminal Minds and my number one, Shemar Moore. When those two men smile, take off their shirts or flex their muscles I have to say my chant, I am married, I am married, I am married. Leon, yes thats his name. Lots of time my best friend (television) is just in the room watching me. It doesnt mind if I talk back to it, ignore it or yell at it. After all it is one of my best friends.
