recommended for those who love the sea and photography

This is the best collection of historical photographs of the sea, shipping, ports and the men who worked there. The photography is remarkable considering the times. It would have been almost impossible to track down these images on my own. Thankfully, Pierre Borhan has done the work for me. I have the hardcover copy already but will buy a paperback copy as backup. If you want glitzy HDR images, go to the internet, this book is for historians!
