Overview

As the owner of The Aerie, Xavier Greer is considered a "Dom's Dom." He and his late wife, Penny, were the perfect D/s couple, until Penny died of breast cancer. Three years later, Xavier still hasn't found himself sexually attracted to anyone. Until Angela returns to the club. As a Domme.

A charter member of The Aerie, Angela Vernon had been a great submissive. She and Penny had been friends, which is why Angela had left when she'd fallen in love with the one man she could never have: Xavier Greer. Even before Penny got sick, Angela knew it was wrong to want another sub's Dom. So she switched to being a Domme and tried to forget Xavier.

Fate brings them back together, and Angela reluctantly rejoins The Aerie. When Xavier sees her, proud and tall, he wants her anyway he can get her. Falling for a Domme isn't exactly how Xavier imagined he'd find passion again, but there are even bigger surprises in store for him as Angela proves to be so much more than he'd assumed.

Warning: This novella contains scorching sex and even hotter emotions as two powerful people negotiate who's really in control. In the end, it's a story of romance and second chances at happiness. Approximately 30,000 words.

Meet the Author

Christina Thacher doesn't use her real name for her erotica, if only to keep her boss from teasing her about her "smut." She's an urban professional writing about urban professionals having kinky sex. Her inspiration is obvious, she says: she just imagines what she would like to have happen to her and the next thing she knows, the book's done. Of course, between her day job as a bankruptcy lawyer and her secret life as a BDSM erotica author, Christina barely has time to date. Just as well...none of the men she meets are as sexy as her heroes. As long as that proves true, she'll keep writing books.

A continuation of the series after The Locked Heart and The Froz

A continuation of the series after The Locked Heart and The Frozen Heart.  Xavier owns a BDSM club called The Aerie and is a reluctant
player since the death of his submissive wife.  A series of events brings his late wife’s best friend back into his life and the dominant
feathers fly!  Sweet story about the power of finding love again with lots of emotional angst, switching doms and smoking hot sex!

    Love the second time around

This BDSM romance shows you can find love a second time, as well as first. X and Angela had to realize they were not being disloyal to Penny's memory. X had to accept that his love for Angela was different from what it was with Penny. But that it is just as sweet the second time. For Angela that means having her one and only love finally! A nice ending to the trilogy.
