Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Janice DeLong
This title is both fiction and a nonfiction, integrating science facts with the lives of several sixth-grade peers. Adam Anderson, better known as "Einstein" Anderson, and his friend Paloma Fuentes are usually deeply engrossed in some scientific experiment—either together or as a challenge to each other. Occasionally, Einstein and Paloma collide with young entrepreneur, Stanley Roberts, especially when the junior executive is trying to make money off faulty scientific data. Most of the time, however, Einstein and Paloma are intrigued with some new fact or experiment. Each of the factual features of the book each has its own chapter, with the Loch Ness Monster, electricity, archeology, physiology, and physics reflected in easily done experiments. This volume is number nine in the "Einstein Anderson Science Geek" series. Author Seymour Simon is a highly respected author of science titles for children. Reviewer: Janice DeLong
