Dr. Dale Arthur Fife is a gifted pastor, author, teacher, and musician, with an insatiable passion for intimacy with God. His zeal for the Lord has led him on an incredible journey from his first pastorate of a small rural church in a coal-mining town outside of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to the co-founding of a large multiracial inner-city church in Pittsburgh. After five decades of ministry experience and increasing requests from others for mentoring and ministry relationships, Dale and his wife, Eunice, founded Mountain Top Global Ministries, a network of pastors, ministries, businesses, and leaders with local, regional, and international impact. As a worship leader in the mid-seventies at the first outdoor Jesus Festivals numbering over 50,000, or in his present ministry speaking in churches, conferences, colleges, and gatherings for leaders and intercessors, Dale's enthusiasm and hunger for God is contagious. His wisdom, maturity, and genuine spiritual concern for others have caused many to regard him as a "spiritual father" in the Lord. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The author candidly shares the details of his close encounters with Jesus in a way that made me long for the same closeness. The revelatory truth contained in this book is presented in a manner that anyone can understand. Dr. Fife carefully lays out his 'Enoch' walks with the Lord in a manner that will make readers desire access to 'the Secret Place'. If you are tired of going through the motions, by completing 'religious' rituals, and yearn for a closer more intimate relationship with the Lord, the Secret Place will bless you tremendously.
This book is right there next to the bible; left side or the right side. I have read this book --five times. The reading doesn't get old; it is a must read. If you don't believe in journaling your Christian walk on a daily basis; you will after you read this book. This book was "monumental" in my personal move from one state to another. Enoch is mentioned; wow. Jesus "signature method" of journaling "our walks with him." The "road to Damascus" with Paul. This is a library MUST! The book is deep, detailed and dynamic! My heart pitter patters each time I see the book. When I read it over and over; something else within its pages penetrates my spirit! This book shows you how wonderful Jesus is. He wants to be with us, he wants to spend time with us. With this book you WANT to spend time with him. The "Forest of Deception" takes a while to comprehend. The travels within the spirit realm, what the church has done to his people; Jesus says too; enough. I love this book,if I see this book on the shelf I pick it up again. It is great to give this book to your children, their own personal copy.
I personally disagree with some ideas here but I do have to say that the book makes you think and makes you want to study to know your Savior more than ever before so I guess that is the best thing about the book.
Yall are all godmodders...saying in one swipe of paw that you killed me or something like that..
