E.T.'s book is amazing. The man knows how to help individuals increase the value of their own lives through his inspirational and motivational words. I have not only read the book quite a few times, but have listened to a number of his speeches. This book just adds insight to why the man has given his life to aid in a stronger development of the lives of many. The world needs Eric Thomas and his "Secrets to Success"

Let me start off by saying, E.T. is an amazing motivational speaker. There was a point where i would listen to one of his speeches everyday. With that said, the review: The book was a tad short. I also felt as if though he dumbed it down a bit. The book also felt more like a biography, than a motivational book/secrets to success. He does use his life to convey the use of tools, ehich he believes his readers should employ as well. "This happened to me, to get over it, I did this." So to that extent, he does a GREAT job showing you how to use these tools. But, it just didnt feel like a success book. It felt like a "heres how I did it" book. His speeches are ten times better than the book, and thats the momentum I was feeding off of, going into the book. I hate to give a 5 star speaker, 3 stars on his first book. But I really feel the book should have been "you (the reader) need to do this and use this, to be a succes" rather than so much "my life. I used this tool. You should use it too." Hope this helps. AMAZING SPEAKER though.
