The Seekers is the third book in the Kent Family Chronicles and perhaps the first one that helps identify the courage and bravery of early Americans. I felt a stronger emotional tie with this third novel than I did the first two. To understand our American Heritage the John Jakes' Kent Family Chronicles is a must read. Although these novels were written over 20 years ago they are excellent and recommended reading.
