Overview

Sometimes you really can die laughing. Lester Breese is a disillusioned man who aspires to become the world’s most renowned stand-up comedian. But Lester has a unique problem: he’s not certain if he relishes killing women more than performing his comedic monologues. Lester pursues his dream after discovering the whereabouts of a notorious comedian from the past. Soon, an invalid comic’s mentorship provides the motivation to transform this middle-aged man into “Hurricane” Breeze. He then overwhelms the town with a sweeping force, delivering material that is darkly comic and in many instances as perverse as his tainted thoughts. Who can prevent this “hurricane” from unleashing his random murdering spree? There is only one man who dares to delve close to this sinister force, but this challenge may not be potent enough to curtail the serial comic’s quest for immortality. The Serial Comic is told in the eerie voice of a cunning murderer, whose unrelenting desire to hear laugher overwhelms all levels of humane thought. The women who attend the serial comic's shows must each ask themselves one vital question: Am I laughing as Hurricane Breeze delivers his routines? If not, each one may become his next "guest" in a private performance where the punchline mercilessly ends in death.
