This was a charming story. A fun and easy read. I look forward to seeing what is in store for Susan and John in the next book. It was very interesting to find out that this was a story based on the authors ancestors.

Susan and John are unfortunate lovers. John, the gardener a man who creates a msgical garden. An honest man who had high ethics. Susan's parents don't feel she is worthy to rven talk to him. I would have gave this book a 5 stars, but the dtory left me hanhing and B & N don't have the seconf book. You can kinda tell whathappened if you read thefitst chapter of the 3rd book in the serirs, which I did not buy as I wanted to know what happened in between. It is still worth reading. Good morals

Based on the author's ancestry. This book was very interesting. At times it was very slow, but hang in there, it will soon pick.

A cute little book that flows, but no "adult" descriptive scenes. Suitable for youngsters.
