Fidelma is bored and frustrated. She had hoped to be made Chief Brehon in her brother's kingdom, but another was chosen. It may be just as well as she is sharp-tongued. At any rate when a farmer comes and reports a body on his field, her brother sends her, and Eadulf off to find out about it. Their continuing relationships adds much to this mystery, which includes Fidelma being abducted by those proposing the Seventh Trumpet. A good adventure and a good mystery
