The author has created a believable description of a potential apocalyptic world. What's more, the cause for the worldwide pandemic he describes seems to be based on a solid scientific foundation. Similar end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it novels that can't substantiate their chosen disasters in some believable way leave me cold. Adding to the realism of the work are the interesting, sometimes quirky, characters. And, though much of the novel is drawn against a rather dark background, it is not without humor. The plotline moves in a single course throughout the work but there are many surprises along the way and it's difficult to see how (or if) the underdogs will prevail. I really enjoyed this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
