I loved the series of Deltora Quest but out of all of them i think Shadowlands was the best. I loved it so much i read it two times and i might read it again. I highly recomend this book. I also recomend the entier series to any person who likes dragons or just likes to read for enjoyment. Anyone who liked reading piriod would love these wonderful books by, Emily Rodda.

The Deltora series is good, but its so sadistic, i mean every page or two you get 'Leif knew he was going to die' or 'they've got so far for nothing' or 'the quest was over.' And half the time it wasnt described enough to understand. If someone like Paolini or Pullman wrote it, it would've been great. Plus u get these little 120 page books which i can read in two hours. And the characters are all srewy.

The only reason I put only 4 stars is because it didn't say what happend to the Shadowlord. Anyway, if you read DELTORA QUEST you like have to read the SHADOWLANDS. I don't even know why they're different series. By the middle of the third book, I knew Jasmine and Leif would fall in love, but when I finished the 8th book I thought I was wrong. Then I found the SHADOWLANDS, and I knew that I wasn't wrong, so I read them, and in doing so I found out that they were better then DELTORAQUEST. EMILY RODDA IF YOU HEAR THIS PLEASE WRITE ANOTHER DELTORA BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book was great. At the end of every chapter i was left in suspense. To fully understand my reasoning you have to know what happened before this book.

When I wrote this I couldn't believe they said 'not in stock'! I have the Shadowlands on my shelf at home and have read it three times. Hello! Its been out since the 1st of May! How slow are you guys? Anyway the Shadowlands is the GREATEST book out of the series. I love it! And I think its great that Emily Rodda didn't make the ending all soppy and stuff. I hate that. It has 138 pages and it only took me 1 day to read. I wish they were longer. I was waiting FOREVER to read it. My best friend Lia and I are the BIGGEST fans of Deltora Quest ever! We waited in suspence every week till it came out and I bought it straight away. Lief Barda and Jasmine are so cool and they meet this other guy called Emlis. And the bit at the end about Marylin... wait I shouldn't say anything. But I thought the ending was really unpredictable. Lia and I spent ages trying to think up possible endings and we weren't even close. EMILY RODDA, IF YOU SOMEHOW READ THIS, I WANT YOU TO KNOW... YOUR BOOKS RULE, I CAN'T EVEN EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THEM AND I'D LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH IF yOU'D WRITE MORE DELTORA QUEST BOOKS! PLEEEAAASSSEE!
