“A superb novel in its own right, and a fitting conclusion to the riveting Shamer Chronicles.” —School Library Journal
The spellbinding final volume of the Shamer Chronicles
The Dragon Lord of Dunark is ruthlessly hunting down Shamers and burning them at the stake. He must be brought down, and so a rebellion is formed.
Rebellions need leaders, and what better choice than the legitimate heir to Dunark, Dina's friend Nico? Nico is reluctant to kill even a rabbit. Still, Dina's considerable powers should help him triumph over the Dragon Lord. But Nico knows only too well that heroes have a nasty habit of ending up dead . . .

Nico, the true heir to the throne, is training for battle against Drakan, but doesn¿t want others involved in his almost suicidal plan. However, you can¿t do that if your friends are the Tornerres. Davin and Dina keep finding ways to follow Nico and try to show him that he will not do any good by getting helplessly defeated by Drakan. Meanwhile, Dina is having troubles of her own. Her father and mother are trying to show her that she should live with their own respective virtues and no the other¿s. The Shamer¿s War has your heart pounding in this suspense-filled book. The book has many interesting decisions made by the characters: some of whom are selfish, while others are selfless. The side issues tie in well with the main issue and had few major holes. I can usually nail books with a lot of criticism, but I can¿t think of any cons for this book. Lene Kaaberbol wrote up a whirlwind of an adventure. The book, The Shamer¿s War, is the last of a great series, but make sure you don¿t read them out of order. This book is really written for teens and it does a great job towards that audience. I really can¿t think of any books this takes anything from, as it is very original. If you are a teen and like fantasy even an ounce, this book is for you.

This final adapton in the teriffic shamer chronicles, is the best one yet. But before you read this one, read the previous others. Summary: Nico is acting weird lately, talking about Draken and Dunark, and Davin seems to be the only one who notices, and decides to discuss this to Dina, who has problems of her own with her father's flute( which if you've read the previous one, you'd know), and Rose. Nico tells their mom that he is going to this other town to get supplies, and quickilly, Dina, Davin, and Rose tell her that they are going too. She has kallen go with them, for there saftey, and Nico is annoyed. A lot of stuff happens in beetween and they figure out that Nico wants to board the sea wolf, and the adventure begins there. I am not going to tell you anymore, so you'll have to read it to figure it out. To tell you the truth, I loved this book the most out of all four, and almost cried because this was the last. This is my favorite series . Comments about this book: 1. I thought Rose was hillarious. 2. I didn't like Nico as much as I did in the others. 3. I am annoyed with one part of what Davin does in this book. 4. Dina has a choice she has to make in this book. 5. You will cry in a happy and sad way! 6. I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for reading my review!

Oh my word... This book was fantastic!!! I'm totally in love with this series! The second best series EVER!!! Anyways, the ending just left me speechless. I couldn't believe everything that happened!! So many twists and turns... I can hardly believe it! The sadest part about this is that it's the last one! Trust me, if you have read the first three prior to this book and not this one, read it!! If you haven't read the first three prior to this one, read them now!! The are the best!!!
