Overview

When Sheikh Kamal first saw Erin from across the ballroom he knew he must have her - and he always got what he wanted.

But Erin was unlike any other woman he had ever met. Even for an American she is exceptionally feisty, strong and stubbornly independent. A challenge to him. Yet he can't keep his eyes off her, her stunning beauty kept him captivated for the whole evening.

When Erin first saw Sheikh Kamal she had no idea he was royalty and leader of Jawhara, one of the largest (and wealthiest) countries in the Middle East. She just saw him as an irresistible handsome man - tall, with deep brown eyes and a muscular physique. Definitely her type.

He was perfect - apart from his personality.

He was so arrogant, controlling, and dominating. Everything she told herself she NEVER wanted in a man. Yet, she feels such a strong pulls towards him, even his scent is intoxicating..

They sneak away from the ball and go back to Erin's apartment where they share an intense night of love making. In the morning Kamal is called urgently back to his country.

As the weeks go by, and the gifts from Kamal pile up, Erin makes a shocking discovery. She is carrying the heir to a kingdom... When Kamal discovers this, he will do anything to bring her to his country and make her his bride. But Erin has other ideas..

I tried to give this author another chance, however I will not read anything from her again. The book is 81 pages, its rushed and the ending is deplorable. I almost wish I could get my money back. The book had some good points, but in this case the bad outweighs the good.

It didn't suck....completely. As it stands the woman puts up with all his control issues and does nothing to stop them. He changes her into a biddable simpleton. He tells her how to dress, walk, act and talk. He doesn't want her, he wants what he can make her into. And instead of sticking up for herself she just does what he wants her to do. I highly doubt i will ever spend money on this author's other books.

For being a self labeled strong and independent woman, the lead has no backbone and the "hero" is deplorable.

It was interesting enough for me to finish, but geez. Kam-whatever his name is- was so controlling. I get he would be that way, coming from the country he did, but geeeeez. I would have been horrified in Erin's place. Taking him to her house was a mistake. She can' t get away from him now. They barely even know one another. I was definitely irate reading all the things she was and wasn't allowed to do.

I think spending $2,99 on a book for 80 to 100 pages is riduclous

Did not understand why the got together. Erin spent more time with Talid than talking with Kamal.

Erin is a lawyer and Kamal is the Prince of Jawhara. When they meet at a party, he goes back to her place and spends the night. He is called back to his home country and promises to get in touch. A month later she starts getting sick and goes to the doctor. She learns she is pregnant and Kamal has her brought to him.  It's a fairly good story. This is first in the series.

I liked the book! Although it was kind of short and wished it was longer!!

It started out ok. It ended horribly. Erin went from strong and independent until the last chapter where she became a doormat. The story was so rushed that I will not be purchasing anything from this author.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this book. I think the author wrote an interesting story, it is just that so much was left unresolved. It was rather short. I did not know there was a "part 2" until the end of "part 1.) I am never happy when I feel tricked. If I know in advance that I am reading only half of the story, then it is my decision whether to read it, even knowing that. I also was uncomfortable with how easily Erin, the main character, ignored her concerns that her sheik was such a control freak. She would have sex with him and promptly set aside her worries. She can't be naive enough to think he will change or that she can believe he will truly find inspiring work for her. She is stuck for life, unless she leaves her baby behind. Are we supposed to believe a woman who is independent and self-reliant will suddenly and forever forget who she really is? Like I said, too much is unresolved.

## HORRIBLE. I can't even believe a woman wrote this. This guy (because there is no hero in this book) needed to take a long walk off a short pier. Shame on this author for degrading women this way. Won't buy anything else by her.

Totally ridiculous

A short, sexy read. I did wish for a little longer story, because the differences seemed to be glossed over quickly.
