Overview

Rene is done with men.

After discovering her fiancé cheating just before the wedding, she's determined to make the most of what would have been her honeymoon at a luxury hotel. A little escape is just what she needs to try to put the past behind her. But a chance encounter with a tall, dark and handsome stranger at the hotel pool leaves her feeling flustered. At first she's put off by his arrogant attitude, but she's quickly swept away by his confident smile and undeniably masculine charm.

Sheikh Tazeem is worth billions, but when the sexy American assumes he's a hotel employee, he doesn't bother to correct her. He came to escape the stress of his everyday life and despite her slightly brazen, untraditional attitude, something about her calls to him. When they happen to meet again, he can't ignore his feelings for the beautiful brunette or their sizzling chemistry.

Fate is determined to bring the strangers together, but when the truth about his identity comes out, Sheikh Tazeem's lies may ultimately lead to heartbreak.

I don't like cliffhangers without warning

Even for free books, I have standards. At barely 70 pages, it's borderline essay versus novella. Drops the storyline midway. Not that I'm going to seek out the others in the series, it seems like the whole series should be one book. Trite waste of time.

I have one word to write. Contractions. Will not. Cannot. Do not. Maybe people from foreign lands don't use them but Americans do. The writing should have been edited.

Amazingly awful.

Did not enjoy this book at all. Rene was very immature and behaved like an idiot throughout. Note to Shelly MA.....please stop with the same two sentences and either write an intelligent review or stop completely. You are the biggest bore on Nook.

Although there is an expected suspension of reality in fiction, this novella was written without even researching the culture of the country of setting. Women are not allowed to be seen with any man other than their husbands, much less talk to them the way the heroine did; and not to mention what she has been wearing. She also sounded like a very shallow, immature person, with no manners whatsoever; it was so annoying to read. I forced myself to finish reading so that I can write a review.

Barely developed story. Just ends. Character development had potential.

I loved and enjoyed reading the awesome and romantic story by the talented author Leslie North. After Renee finds her fiancee cheating on her, she decides she is through with men and goes on her honeymoon alone brokenhearted and meets a sexy man who makes who forget all about her vow about men.  As Renee falls for Joshua, she finds out he has been lying to her about his true identity. Read the highly recommended, captivating and engaging love story of Renee and Joshua in the first Tazeem Twins sequel.

Funny and great book. I can't wait to read second in the series.

Awful. The plot was worse than any Harlequin or Mills & Boon romance from the '70's. Thank goodness it was free - I still think I overpaid.

This book is bad. Don't even try... yes it is free, but it's hard to even get through the 70 pages. Note to the author, you need different beta readers if they allowed you to publish this book as is. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but there are so many things wrong with the storyline and character development. Don't even get me started on errors in the culture...I mean please. If they really were the author said they were the female lead would have been jailed just for her attire, let alone her behavior. Awful.

This is Joshua and Rene's story of finding each other, what started as a flung grew by the day to love!!  There roe try of bumps in the road as Rene discovers that Joshua is a Sheikh!!! She's hurt because he withheld that information from her.  She is there because her fiancé was caught sleeping with another woman one week before the wedding-but she decides to use the honeymoon Package fir herself.  She was swimming in the hotel pool, was getting out when a really good looking man asked her if she lost something- she looks down and sure enough her breasted r hanging out for the world to see.  Then thinking he works for the hotel she asks him for a drink    And that's the beginning of their relationship.  Rene is somewhat clumsy so everything she does Joshua is so amused.  Lighthearted, loving, interesting, definite 5 stars.

I thought this was a cute and funny read. Nothing could be more embarrassing than the messes Rene gets herself into. She is a down to earth girl who tells it like it is there isn’t much sugar coating at all when she tells Josh he has a stick stuck up his well you know. No doubt about it he is uptight but Rene has a way of calming him even when he can’t stand her and thinks she is rude. When he finds she doesn’t know who he is he decides not to tell her. They get close and send time together it is really cute how she pulls him out of his shell. Mistakes are made which could be the end of a relationship that neither wanted. Rose DeMarco I thought did a great job on her narration. She has a pleasant voice and speaks clear. It is easy to understand her and who is talking her male voices are as pleasant as her female voices. There are no background noises or any breaks in the audio. Her tones are even as she goes from excitement to anger. You have no problem telling what emotion each character is feeling. I did think she could have put more in the passionate scenes. I thought she did a good job. I am looking forward to listening to more from her. Rene was a pleasant surprise just how down to earth she is and how she sticks her foot in her mouth. She is funny and cute. I love the way she pulls people out and is easy to talk with. As for her not knowing he was a Sheikh I find that very believable I myself would never know it. Who keeps up with things like that? It isn’t like we will ever meet one. I thought she handled it all pretty well. Josh I found it hard to believe a Sheikh would be alone. I am sure they always have body guards and in his case more than most for whom he is. He was distant cold and without a lot of humor which I found believable but he wasn’t arrogant or overly alpha. I liked how he came out of his shell and I loved his humor when he did learn to let go. His brother is adorable I love his humor and his caring ways making sure the girl was with his brother for who he not what he has. I didn’t care for how the story ended if left me with a lot of questions. After looking I see the love story of these two does go on throughout this series. Which means this is a cliffhanger and I am not fond of them. I thought this book moved pretty fast at times maybe too fast. I did think it has an outstanding plot with little left out. There were some very heated scenes which were good. You can feel the passion between the two. I just didn’t care for the ending
