The Sickness, the Cause the Cure.

Two of the greatest needs in the church today are the need for healing and finances. In this book, Pastor Gordon address the need for healing.

There is so much confusion over the subject of divine healing, and we are often exposed to such statements as – “God only heals sometimes”, or “God only heals some people”, or “Healing isn’t for today.” A lot of these statements we hear are not based on the teachings of God’s word. Most are rather set upon circumstances and situations in life that people have experienced first-hand or heard of, where someone never received their healing and died prematurely because of sickness.

We can’t go by what we have experienced in life, or what others have passed through. We must live our lives based upon what God’s word says.

Some change their belief system to line up with their experiences rather than what God’s word teaches. They’ll say, “My dad was sick, and he never got healed after we prayed for him; so, God doesn’t heal everyone or He doesn’t heal all the time.”

There are three views regarding divine healing.

1. God doesn’t heal anymore.
2. God wants to heal some.
3. God heals all.

Now, the point above shows that number one is based on unbelief, two is based on experience, and three is based on the scriptures, the word of God.

Experience always knows someone that died of cancer, a heart attack or stroke, but this does not change the word of God.

Paul the Apostle says, “Let God be true and every man a liar” (Romans 3 vs. 4).

Acts 10 vs. 38 says, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
