I am very pleased about this edition . As a marine historian , I was very curious to read a book about "Titanic" that was published right after the sinking . This fulfilled my expectations fully . I was very pleased to see that the book is a faithful reproduction of the original with the cover design and illustrations . The stories in the book are quite good and they give an interesting insight into what the accident meant to people in 1912. It is a great book for light , easy reading as the chapters are short but very informative. . One aspect about this book I liked very much was that although the book is probably the most accurate 1912 account the accident , some of the facts are not entirely accurate . I liked that because the men who complied this book did not understand all of the details as well as people do in the present which was typical of the period . Still I would recommend this book for anyone who is intersted in "Titanic" or the culture of the Edwardian era . This book is a must for someone who is intersted in reading first-hand accounts of the accident and ocean liner lovers .Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
