The Sky Is The Limit: Children's Stories On Exploring The Power Of Self
Today’s youth are facing a new set of challenges in an age where self-worth is gained by doing whatever it takes to achieve the approval of not just their peers, but also the world. This creates an environment uniquely their own, making it difficult for parents and teachers to relate and provide guidance. In a collection of six short stories, Astrid Hoffman uses allegories to guide children to explore and draw from their power to grow into healthy, loving, and strong individuals, and to help parents instigate conversations that explore the highest potential of their children and lead them to excel in life. Within Hoffmann’s stories, diverse animal characters teach children valuable lessons of trust, both in oneself and others, responsibility and motivation, and valuing one’s contribution to community. The Sky Is the Limit shares six short tales that explore the power of self and invite children to discover their strengths with love and compassion.
