This book is exceptionally good! I think that it also benefits the experienced cook as well as the chef. It is very detailed and the pictures are very helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this to my family members and coworkers!

If you are looking to reduce risk factors for health problems, lose weight or improve your appearance this book is a must have. The book is broken down in four simple sections with a variety of recipe options for every palate.

I am very happy with all this book delivers. The recipes are tasty and simple. I’ve tried the 3 day cleanse challenge and I feel better than I have in a long time. My stomach is flatter. I have more energy. I am happier and more positive. I would recommend starting on a weekend or, as the book recommends, take time off to do a cleanse and avoid the unpleasant side effects.

The author even reviews the kitchen tools needed and a variety of preparation techniques and tips. You will see how versatile smoothies really are and that by adding a bit of protein and healthy fat you can create a quick and delicious (plus healthy) meal.

I thought I knew it all about smoothies...boy, was I wrong!  It is much more than just throwing some fruit in a blender and this book breaks it all done in simple and clear understanding of what goes and in and why.  Great recipes, and easy to make.  Most of the ingredients are readily available, so give it a whirl!

This book not only contains a variety of recipes, it also explains how smoothies can be beneficial to nearly every part of a person’s physical well-being. It’s  a great start for someone curious enough to dip their toe in the water.

I usually start my day off with a nice glass of juice in the morning. For that nice pick me up I add a cup of coffee and I'm all set. But, after reading this book I'm convinced that switching to a smoothie in the morning is the best way to go. ROCK ON!!!

it's a given, some of the recipes are a bit long and the recipe iredients are quite vast, but it is also possible to use the next best thing based on what you are trying  to accomplish. i like this book. smoothies are one of the best ways to get what you need from your fruits and vegetables. i would definitely recommend this book. it's a great buy and has loads of possibilities.

I love how this book lays out in plain English the simple steps towards building your own smoothies. It doesn't give you step-by-step recipes like a cookbook does, but instead gives you easy steps to follow to make a wide variety of different smoothies. There's no better way to make a quick, healthy breakfast or snack. If you need more fresh fruits and vegetables in your life, or just want to save time in the morning, this book is perfect.

The introduction nailed me:  I don’t eat enough produce, and I eat way too much processed food.  If you’re like me, this book will teach you how to add fruits and vegetables to your diet in an easy, efficient, and tasty way. Because I think cleanses are dangerous, I would recommend bypassing those chapters, but the rest of the book is a keeper--most recipes have few ingredients and even fewer steps.

I love smoothies but have never gotten around to making them myself, and this book really encouraged me.  I liked that they go over the  health benefits of the ingredients they use, and they provide recipes for a lot of different types of smoothies.  Having so many recipes available gives plenty of inspiration for types of smoothies to make.

The benefits of smoothies mirror the benefits of good nutrition so if you want to ward off illness, have an easier time losing weight, and have an overall healthier glow, this book will set you off in the right direction. It has all the information you need to make smoothies an enjoyable and healthy addition to your weekly menu. If you have heard terms like superfoods, the Dirty Dozen, and the Clean Fifteen but aren't sure what they are all about, you will find what you need to know in a simple, easy to read format. I can't wait to try some of these recipes. They sound delicious!  A well-timed addition to the recipe books you keep handy and refer to over and over again.

I'm sure that you are much like me and hate when you get a good recipe then drink it to death. This book makes sure that doesn't happen.  It's a very simple, easy read and handy referral to get your smoothie game together.  Many books just give you a ton of recipes with no real meaning behind them but this book gave us comparisons and even referrals to outside sources.  I was very please with all of the smoothies that I have tried and have even shared some with my friends. I feel more knowledgeable knowing why smoothies can be better than juicing.

This book reminded me of how much I loved the healthy smoothies at the gym I used to go to. I am so annoyed at myself for never making my own smoothies, but that’s about to change. If you have some basic fruit and milk supplies in your kitchen, along with a blender, you will be able to make one or two recipes in here immediately without going to the store. Others are more exotic and will be an adventure. Get the ebook to save money and also enable you to just bring your device into the kitchen with you when you are working on your smoothie.

I really enjoyed reading this great little book and can't wait to try the mouth-watering recipes. They cover absolutely everything you need to know to make a delicious and nutritious smoothie. This includes the tools you need, how find the best produce, the health benefits of the ingredients. All the recipes are simple, easy, quick and healthy. This book is unnecessary, pointless, and poorly written. The early pages actually include the phrase: "If you're trying to incorporate more fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet, you might find it difficult to do so, partly because chewing all of those plant products takes time,". I wish this was taken severely out of context, but it is from a section trying to convince you to drink smoothies. The entire idea of a smoothie recipe book is dumb. They're cheap, simple, and intuitive. The only thing saving this book from a rock bottom rating is a small scattering of actually useful tips in the early sections.

Smoothie world for dummies is the alternative title of this book, which is  great if you are new to this delightful way of ingesting large amounts  of bio available nutrients. Apparently, smoothie diets are extremely beneficial  for those struggling with mood disorders and indigestion. This recipe book  is not a list of traditional high-calorie, sugary desserts - it is full of healthy,  whole food  meal replacements. My favorite part was how many medicinal  spices and super foods were incorporated into the list of ingredients. Some  smoothie formulas include goodies like ginger and green tea, or even  probiotics. My goal is to create a complete color rainbow of smoothies,  based on the recipes provided! As a surprise chapter, this book tells you  how to grow your own fresh fruits and vegetables, from salad greens to fruit  trees. I would not recommend going on an exclusively smoothie diet, but  incorporating them as healthy meal additions for a two or three-course meal  is totally do-able.
