Logline

When a young girl obsessed with her favorite TV show is mysteriously transported into a stunning yet perilous winter wilderness, she must navigate a landscape filled with magical creatures and daunting challenges to find her way back home before the reality of her frozen adventure consumes her entirely.

Summary

In the heart of Montana, a young girl named Torrey finds herself trapped in the confines of her small rustic cabin, glued to a dull TV show that has long lost its charm. As an expansive and ever-changing world unfolds just beyond her window, boredom gnaws at her, and she dismisses her father's advice to "turn off the TV and go outside," choosing instead the predictable comfort of her screen.

Everything changes when a fierce windstorm knocks out the power, sending an ancient, mysterious book tumbling from a forgotten shelf.

Suddenly, with her beloved show interrupted and darkness settling in, Torrey faces an unexpected choice: will she explore the mysterious dusty book cast off the storm in the shelf, or scramble to revive her trusty battery-powered DVD player?
