About the Author

William Sheehan is a noted historian of astronomy and a writer. His books include Mercury, Saturn, Venus and The Solar System in Reaktion’s Kosmos series. He lives in Arizona, and asteroid 16037 is named Sheehan in his honor.


Clifford J. Cunningham is a research fellow at the University of Southern Queensland. His books include Asteroids, also in Reaktion’s Kosmos series.
