    more from this reviewer

Loved it. Lost it. Now until forever permanently ensconced in my CD collection

A very unique collection/compilation of "covers" of (IMO) the most fantastic musical of all time. The "Tonight" duet with Kenny Loggins and Wynnona simply soars, and the Michael McDonald/James Ingram/David Pack rendition of "Maria" is beyond amazing...truly beautiful and unforgettable...haunting. I admit keeping it on RPT during long car trips, and I always hear something new.

If you don't like the original West Side Story, you probably won't appreciate this, but I dare you to listen to "Maria" and not be affected.

Some silliness with Little Richard can be easily skipped.
