Overview

From Christian author Raymond Candy now comes the second volume in his “The Sound Doctrine Seminar” series of Christian deeper life instructional books. Transcribed from a live seminar taught by Mr. Candy, this book opens the door of understanding to many complex and misunderstood doctrines contained in the Word of God.
In easy simple language the author shares expositions and revelations which he received from the Lord during a two month wilderness experience and sabbatical in 1980. Teaching from the Gospel of Matthew chapters five and six, Mr. Candy shares the revelations given to him by God concerning this message for Kingdom living that Jesus gave us in what has come to be known as “The Sermon on the Mount”.
In easy to understand terms that every layperson can understand, the author explains not only the apparent meanings of these verses of Scripture, but also the deeper spiritual truths behind this great message as revealed by the Holy Spirit. The application and importance of these doctrines in our daily life is explained in detail for the benefit of every believer who is hungry for a deeper and more abundant walk with Christ.
Chapter headings include "The Attitudes of Humility and Repentance", "The Attitudes of Meekness and Righteousness", "The Principle of Mercy in the Kingdom of God", "The Principles of Purity, Peace, and Persecutions", "The Allegory of Salt, Light, and Candlesticks", "Exceeding the Righteousness of the Pharisees", "The Spirit of the Word", and "A New Heart and a New Spirit".
Mr. Candy's publications have been read in over 60 countries around the world.
