The Sound of Death Diary is a fictional journal of 28-year-old Thomas “Tommy” J. Cruver, as he writes to an unknown audience about his experiences and day to day life during “The Spread” throughout the Puget Sound area of Washington State. The Spread being the term he’s decided to use to explain the spread of walking dead that are plaguing the United States.
Tommy’s journal will at times be graphic; after all we are talking zombies here. But, you’ll also see his thoughts, muses, and hopefully see his world as he sees it.
I hope that Tommy makes it. A healthy guy in his late 20’s with a small stockpile of supplies, I think he has a good chance. But to be honest, I’m writing this one journal entry at a time, so I don’t have a clue. Maybe I’ll leave his fate in the hands of the public who read his entries, maybe a roll of the dice. We’ll just have to wait and see.
