This book is not serious writing, it is not legitimate investigation or inquiry. It is a collection of stories from VFW halls, barbershops and small town gossip

I thought this book was very interesting. I especially love the history of each case that is provided, although my favorite part of each case is the ghost lore. For me the pictures really helped put me right at the location. I have been to some of these places including the Bullock Hotel, Badlands, and Rock Hill, yet there are several others that after reading about them I am not sure I want to visit in the dark. If you are looking for a fun read on the ghosts of South Dakota I recommend this title.

After seeing several of my kids bring this book to class I went out and purchased it. I was surprised by how many places I had been to before not knowing they were haunted. A fun read.
