About the Author

John Elfers, PhD, is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist and education consultant. He has created educational programs in the areas of mental health, adolescent reproductive health, drug intervention, and community building. He continues to conduct research in the area of transformative practices. He is an associate core faculty for Sofia University, USA.

Patty Hlava, PhD is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Meditation Instructor in practice at Healthwise Behavioral Health and Wellness as well as Healthwise Mindfulness and Yoga Psychology Studio. Her research has been published in The Journal of Humanistic Psychology and The International Journal of Transpersonal Studies.
