Our family is a big fan of Julia Donaldson, and this book did not dissapoint. Very fund and engaging, and teaches a great lesson. Our almost five-year old absolutely loves it, and so do we!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

The story is very sweet, telling of a giant giving away his new clothes he was so proud of to help others. Children seem to love the illustrations and giggle and laugh out loud when the poor giants trousers fall down after he gives away his belt. The children I have read the story to like the giant being given recognition and reward for his kindness by the animals he helped and see it as a great ending to a lovely story. Was this review helpful?
