This is a sweet Regency about a spinster in her middle thirties and an earl who is younger and scarred on his face from wounds received in the Peninsular War. Each thinks no one wants them and they come to know one another and fall in love sight unseen through the exchange of letters. A short but beautiful feel good story!

Great book. A story through letters is a wonderful touch! It makes an intriguing twist on a romance story.

I liked the story, though predictable (As most regency romance books are) It was sweet how the story developed. It was short and sweet which was exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend it!

Could use a few more chapters. Good writing, but stilted ending - really don't care for it when characters change quite so much they end up seeming like a different person altogether.

Cute premise for a story, a letter falling in to the wrong (or right) hands. Two people unwanted by others, wanting each other.

The story line was nice for those cold autumn days when you curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and a book. Over all it was a sweet love story with a lovely ending.

I loved this book because they fell in love with the inner beauty of each other and not the outer beauty. I also feel that the authur met her page quota and then finished the book. I was sad that the story was short for i want to no more about the characters and what happened with them. I is defenitly a MUST READ book!!

A delightful story about two lonely misfits who accidently discover their soulmate. In today's fast-paced lifestyle of instant messaging, the art of letter writing has perished. This story makes a reader yearn for this old fashioned type of personal correspondence. This will tug at the heartstrings!

Worth getting! A very sweet and moving short tale about looking deeper then the surface. Beauty is truely in the eyes of the beholder!
