Will puts the power of knowledge into the readers hands, giving them solid facts to combat supplement myth and fiction so that they can make more informed supplement buying decisions. The book is compiled to be easy to understand for the beginner, but also adds additional scientific extrapolation for the more experienced and advanced athlete.
The Sports Supplement Bible is an excellent reference work for both users of sports/performance related supplements, or for clinicians and medical professionals who want a well referenced book on the topic that’s “real world” oriented. Once you have read it through, it becomes a great book to refer to over and over again. Will’s breakdown of the scientific studies are insightful, his expertise in nutrition really shows through in this book. Highly Recommended!
Will Brink is a columnist, contributing consultant, and writer for numerous health/fitness, medical, and bodybuilding publications. His articles on nutrition, supplements, weight loss, exercise and medicine can be found in magazines and journals such as “Muscle Insider”, “Lets Live,” “Muscle Media 2000,” “MuscleMag International,” “Life Extension,” “Muscle & Fitness,” “Inside Karate,” “Exercise for Men Only,” “Oxygen,” “The Townsend Letter For Doctors,” as well as many international magazines.
He is the author of the book “Priming The Anabolic Environment: A practical and Scientific Guide to the Art and Science of Building Muscle,” as well as various chapters in sports nutrition related textbooks and is author of the e-books “Fat Loss Revealed” and “Brink’s Bodybuilding Revealed.”
Will graduated from Harvard University with a concentration in the natural sciences, and is a consultant to supplement companies. He has co-authored several studies relating to sports nutrition and health and published in peer reviewed academic journals.
He has served as an NPC judge and as a Ms. Fitness USA judge. A well-known trainer, Will has helped many top level bodybuilders through all facets of pre-contest and off-season training. He was an Adunct Trainer at Smith & Wesson Training Academy and has written the book “Practical Applied Stress Training, for Tactical Law Enforcement”, named after the class he taught. He has worked with athletes ranging from professional golfers, fitness contestants, and police and military personnel.
