This book still brings tears to my eyes. I read it to my sons and can only pray they will be wise and strong like the squire. They love to read it over & over.

    Fantastic Book!

Wow! What a fantastic book. I bought it for my 5+ year old little guy. He was captivated :-D He understood the story and its connection to biblical truths (Ephesians 'Armor of God', etc). It is very stirring and enjoyable for adults as well. Highly recommend along with the companion book 'Life Lessons From the Squire and the Scroll'.

Better than Princess & the Kiss!

I was captivated by this book from the beginning and I'm an adult! I loved Princess & the Kiss by Jennie Bishop, but I love this book the more I read it. For those who like adventure and excitement, plus a good moral to a story for their kids, this is THE BOOK to buy and read over and over with your son and your daughter. Pictures are stirring, the story is captivating, and anyone who loves for good to win over evil will immensely enjoy this book. By the way: it is NOT paperback, but hardback--a definite keeper!
