    HMMM...

I personally love the Hardy Boys series but this one I haven't read and have never seen it nor heard of it from my friends or seen it in the back of the book where it shows all of the Hardy Boys books in the series. Franklin W. Dixon is not a real person. That is just a fake name she puts when she writes a book. I am left wondering if this is actually by Franklin W. Dixon.

    A puzzler of a mystery

This mystery was sure a puzzler. I thought Santana and/or Bertrand were the ones who stole the Stone Idol. Then when The Hardy Boys' went to Antarctica to help their dad, I wondered where the connection was with that mystery and the mystery with the Stone Idol. Then back in South America, the Hardy Boys' see an unknown person with Santana and Morena and I thought the unknown person was tied in with Santana and Morena. If you want to find out what happens and who really stole the Stone Idol, then you will have to read the book to find out.

Not as Good as the Rest

The Stone Idol wasn't quite as good as the other Hardy Boys books because it was kind of hard to understand. There was two mysteries in the same book and that got me kind of confused. But it was OK anyway.
