A great book about a great band.

This book will give the reader a inside look at one of rock's most influential and pioneering bands. Often called one the first punk bands, The Stooges provided the template for countless bands to follow. From Iggy Pop's wailing vocals to Ron Ashton's distorted guitar playing, The Stooges laid down a stripped down punkish vibe that was totally original. This book covers their career from their start in Ann Arbor, Michigan to their tour to support their album The Weirdness in 2007. Loaded with great pictures this book is an excellent look at a one-of-a-kind group of musicians who blazed a trail in rock music.
