    more from this reviewer

Jean. Johnson keeps her romantic fantasy saga at the top bar of excellence.

Rydan, the Guardian of the Nightfall Fountain, is a loner. He hates crowds, which to him is more than one other person near his space. Thus he is unhappy when the twins Arora and Amara are shipwrecked on Nightfall Island even as he is attracted to the former while his brother Trevan desires the latter (see THE CAT).-------------- He rejects the concept that Rora is his destined mate. However she sees inside his soul and knows why he runs from emotions feelings are painful to her beloved. She plans to heal him, but first must deal with the trouble that followed her and her sister to Nightfall Island.-------------- Although readers know much of the events having read them in THE CAT, Jean Johnson keeps the tale fresh as the perspective of the other twins are different from those of Trevan and Amara. The story line maintains the fast pace, but new revelations occur as Rydan keeping with his overall loner persona meets his fate as one of the Sons of Destiny in the aptly titled THE STORM. Ms. Johnson keeps her romantic fantasy saga at the top bar of excellence.--------- Harriet Klausner

    Best Book of the series!!!

I love this whole series but The Storm is by far my favorite book of the series!!! I love the characters and how the plot moves! Rydan and Rora are so cute together and this book was definitely worth the wait!! I was a little leery of it since The Cat covers the same events mostly but I was pleasantly surprised that it was so different and as good as i thought it would be!!

    Disappointed...Again!

I forced myself to plow through The Master, I even trudged through Cat because I desperately wanted to get to Storms' and Flames' Destinies. What I found was repetition, tangents and too much fluff. I did not like how the characters came together, I did not like how things were finalized and I did not like how Cats and Storms took place at the same time. (hence the repetition)
All I can say is Flame better be worth it or I will be kicking myself for wasting my time with this series.

    Love this series!

Both this one and the final one in the series are my favorites. They are pure escapism when I need it.

    Storm

I loved this book. It was another chapter in the world I was falling inlove with that Jean had created in very first book of the series.

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SERIES

First time I have ever read anything like these books. I usually don't go for fantasy, but this series is terrific. I want to move to the island and marry one of these brothers! You will fall in love with them too. There are 8 books in the series. You have to read them all.
