    Not For Us

We were looking for a series to replace our current wornout & out of print series on teaching children about their bodies and christian sex education. We purchased this series sight unseen. When we received it, we were very disappointed. Book 1 was acceptable, but from that point on, it was definitely not what we were looking for. The series is basically dealing with sex, verses teaching sex education, which is what we needed. We also found the illustrations to be inappropriate and a little to explicit for the age group intended.

    Great Book!

The Story of Me was very good at answering questions from young children without going into too much detail. Stan and Brenna Jones start off with a little boy asking his parents to ¿Tell me the story about me.¿ Then his parents lovingly explain how God uses parents to make a baby and how it is brought into the world. They also include helpful information about talking to your children about sex at different ages. It¿s a great book for every parent to read with their child.

    Uplifting and Motivating

This book is one that you won't want to put down. It captures you from the first page. You feel as if you are going through each struggle with the author. And just when you think things will never change in this woman's life a higher power steps in and elevates her to the next level. Prepare yourself for a life changing experience.

    Excellent resource for human sexuality

I bought the entire series and am impressed from start to finish. This series addresses human sexuality from a Christian perspective--How God made your body and how He wants you to take care of it. It uses explicit descriptions in an appropriate manner. Not a resource for physiology, but my choice for initial, formal sex education for my 4 and 6 year-olds.
