    Very Good Explanation for Kids

My 3 yr old had a Thanksgiving show and tell at school. This book was the perfect way to explain the history and meaning of Thanksgiving. Written very simply and clearly with good pictures. After reading this (few times a day)for a week, he was telling everyone why we had corn for Thanksgiving dinner. Some of the adults did not know this...

    great for toddlers

I was looking for a book for my 2 and 4 year old boys about Thanksgiving, and this was the perfect fit for us. Even though it is a board book, it has a decent amount of text per page, so it kept the interest of my 4 year old. I loved how it brought the story full circle from the pilgrims to the modern Thanksgiving table, and how it focused on thanking God for what we have.
