Overview

When Arthur returns to Earth, alone, in an old, rusty escape pod after prolonged stasis, he cannot remember where he is, what had caused his runaway, and who his rescuers are. In fact, he cannot remember anything, not even his name... At the strong request of his audience, Arthur follows the emerging threads of his memory to unveil the most complex, the most extraordinary story ever told.
The Storyteller is an original book series of adventure and space exploration, which seems to answer the persistent, intriguing question present in us: Are we alone in the Universe? Are there other intelligent beings, other powerful civilizations? And if they are, then who or what are they? How do they look like? How are the worlds they create, and how different are they from us?
This first book of ‘The Storyteller’ series introduces a mysterious character that people call simply Arthur, Author, or the Holly One. Here is the first part of his story, including the story of his friends and loved ones. All characters are warm and interesting, young and old, lively and full of joy. They find themselves in interesting circumstances, and they try to get out unharmed.
The protagonists are either very powerful, or they are always in contact with powerful, credible beings. At a deeper level, embedded in the web of adventure, my books explore Life, Existence and the Universe, along with the way people, societies and civilizations behave everywhere, forming this comprehensive, everlasting world. Enjoy!

Valentin Matcas taught Mathematics and English to university students from Europe, and later on, he taught Science and Mathematics to students from various provinces of Canada, always interested in learning from the diverse cultures he encountered, always eager to spread his knowledge. Valentin Matcas created mathematical models in Psychology, Biology, Physics, and Sociology, with his most interesting results being: human modes of life, deductive model of the Universe, detailed human needs, models of other realities, modes of civilizations, human lifestyles, models for the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind, models of social classes, human status, natural laws of the Universe, etc.
As a Nonfiction writer, Valentin Matcas continues his research throughout his multitude of books, creating a comprehensive model for the human condition, the human experience, and the human existence, from all perspectives: behavioral, cognitive, biological, social, religious, developmental, existential, cosmological, parapsychological, and metaphysical. Valentin Matcas invites his readers to learn from his books while reasoning continuously towards understanding themselves and the world that they inhabit, create, and experience, on all levels of existence. Valentin Matcas takes his writings further, to capture the essence of Life Herself in all spheres of existence, lower and higher, unveiling a wider, extraordinary living presence within our wider, comprehensive world. Valentin Matcas wrote: ‘The Human Needs,’ ‘The Human Body,’ ‘The Human Society,’ ‘The Human Reality,’ ‘The Other Realities,’ ‘The Human Mind,’ ‘Life,’ ‘My Higher Self,’ ‘Modes of Life,’ ‘The Human Lifestyles,’ ‘The Human Development,’ ‘Civilizations,’ ‘Timelines,’ ‘Religions,’ ‘The Human Status,’ and ‘Natural Laws of the Universe.’
As an enthusiast of Science Fiction, Valentin Matcas writes about terrestrial and alien civilizations, about life in the Universe, the way it develops and intertwines across galaxies, about powerful beings, the way they control and reshape the Universe as they please, and about normal human beings from Earth, caught in this beautiful, interesting, wider existence. Valentin Matcas creates a living, warmer, credible Universe in his books, teaming with life and vibrancy on all levels of existence. Valentin Matcas wrote ‘The Storyteller’ book series including ‘The Storyteller’ and ‘Starship Colonial.’ He currently works on new book series called ‘Unlimited,’ ‘The Culling,’ and ‘Manimals.’
When he is not writing, Valentin Matcas enjoys studying, playing the keyboard, hiking the beautiful trails of Canada, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, riding his race bike, reading good books, cooking, listening to good classical music, meditating, and playing good strategy video games. Enjoy all his books!
