The String Quartet Tribute to Black Sabbath

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Johnny Loftus
The String Quartet Tribute to Black Sabbath presents nine instrumental chamber arrangements of songs culled from the iconic metal outfit's most fertile years, roughly 1971-1973. "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" wanders a bit, but could still make it onto any horror movie soundtrack. In fact, the entire album wouldn't be out of place as background music in Vlad the Impaler's lair. Also included in the collection is "Sacrament," a piece inspired by Black Sabbath.
