All Music Guide - Johnny Loftus
It's pretty much what you'd expect here. Vitamin Records tackles the Eagles via violin, viola, and cello, focusing on favorites like "Hotel California," "Take It Easy," and "Desperado." The violins infuse "Peaceful Easy Feeling" with a big-sky country flair, while "Best of My Love" becomes a two-steppin' country ballad. The String Quartet Tribute to the Eagles isn't essential, but it will offer diehards of the group some nice departures from the overplayed source material.
