Editorial Reviews

Booknews
Compares and merges the Portland Index with Strong's 1894 Concordance, the result enhanced by comparison with the electronic edition of the Cambridge Paragraph Bible of 1873. The Strong's Concordance is exhaustive mostly in the sense that attached to lines of many words' occurrence, is a number that leads the researcher to an appendix showing the ancient root of the word. In addition, the volume features a topical /conceptual reference wherein alphabetized individuals, places, objects, and topics (e.g., adoption, cruelty) can be consulted to find where they are addressed in the testaments. A key difference between the concordance proper and the topical reference is the latter is not restricted to the King James vocabulary. Among the 12 appendices are maps, a harmony of the gospels, the Hebrew calendar, and Jesus' parables. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)

    The very very best.

This is the best concordance I've ever used. It is truly exhaustive, and easy to use, even for the novice. The scholarship is up-to-date, and this version corrects many errors in previous editions. All-in-all, a wonderful reference tool.

    Its the best I've found

Very accurate. Easy to follow and understand. I recommend this one above the other Strong books because were finding out new information all the time and this edition is updated. They did an excellent job of keeping opinion out of it.
